Frequently Asked Questions
  • What are your hours?
    We are open Monday through Friday. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday our hours are 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. On Wednesday our hours are 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. On Friday our drive thru is open from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and our lobby is open at 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

  • How do I apply for a loan?
    We require that you come in the lobby and fill out an application. We will pull your credit report. You will need proper I.D. and a recent pay stub. Our loan officer will visit with you and get any additional information.

  • How quick does my check clear?
    Your check may clear the same day and more often the next business day. If is important that funds are in your account prior to issuing any checks.

  • How may ATM’s do you have?
    We currently have a machine inside of Rockwell Automation and at our Main office location. Our ATM cardholders may use any presto machine (at Publix) or cu here or cu24 machines surcharge free.

  • Are the ATM/Debit cards free?
    We issue the first cards free to those members who maintain a checking account with us and are credit worthy. Replacement cards are issued once a $10.00 fee is paid.

  • How long will it take to get my check order? Debit Card?
    Check orders and Debit cards are received between 7 and 14 business days. The PIN number will arrive approximately two days later than your debit card.

  • Can I have a copy of my credit report?
    We do not give out copies of credit reports. We will discuss and disclose what we see listed on the credit report to you. We will only pull a credit report when a service requires up to and not at a member’s request. We will make available the phone numbers for the three reporting agencies as well as their website. Credit Bureaus by law must issue you a free credit report annually, upon your request.

  • What are the three credit reporting agencies and their phone number?
    Equifax – 1 800 685 1111
    Experian – 1 888 397 3742
    Transunion – 1 800 888 4213

  • What is a Beacon Score?
    It is the score a credit bureau give each person based on their credit history and the amount of credit used in ratio to the amount available.

  • How does skip a payment work?
    Members who have not made a late payment in the last six months can pay $10.00 per loan and receive a payment holiday for the whole month. The member chooses the month. Provided the member continues to pay on time he is allowed to do this once every calendar year.

  • Does the Credit Union finance mortgages? Mobile homes with land? Land?
    Our mortgages are processed through CUFS (Credit Union Financial Services). We will finance Mobile homes that are attached to land, but only a portion of our loan dollars are used for this purpose and we are currently loaned out. We do finance land. Call the Credit Union for details.

  • The car dealerships offer great rates, why should I finance my vehicle at the credit union?
    Often our rates are competitive with the dealerships. We are local and offer better service. We provide GAP insurance at a fraction of what a dealership charges. You can get pre-approval on your loan. This will allow you to shop stress free for the auto you want. The credit union will look up NADA values for vehicles at the member’s request. This way they know they are getting the best deal.

  • Does the Credit Union provide lines of credit or credit cards?
    We do offer lines of credit tied to your home’s equity. These Home Equity lines of credit may be tax deductible. We also offer a credit union VISA credit card. You may obtain an application in our lobby.

  • What products and services are available for free?
    The credit union offers free notary service, certified checks, book values on vehicles, ATM and Debit cards.
